Today, photographers around the world celebrate photography and the art form it has become. This quote from digitaltrends.com sums it up:
The patent for the daguerreotype, an early form of photography (and gift from the French), was released to the public on August 19, 1839, but it wasn’t until 2010 that the day would begin serving as a celebration for all photography.
Thank you to all photographers who continue to inspire me, and make me strive to learn and grow with my lens every day!!
And I’ll now share photos from my world over the last two days with you. Last night I went downtown for a belated birthday celebration. Cocktails, avocado toast and a dinner that wasn’t photographed was all delicious!! I took a few shots in the city core too. Today, it has been VERY hot, and after work I had a bunch of errands to run. I managed to take a few pictures while I was out and about. LOVE the dogs and cat! And the film set was for a TV show called “The Magicians”. BUT….love my own Neva the most. I’m SO happy to report that she’s recovering well from last week’s little abscess issue. She’s hot and floppy, but back to her normal playful self. Glad you are back Neva!!! 🙂
Have a great weekend everyone. I’ll check in tomorrow from Victoria, I’m off to see my Mom. Enjoy your Saturday!
OMG I love the photo of the musician and his dog, so much love in those photos. You have such a great eye and I need to thank you for sharing your love of photography and passed it on to me although I will never be as good as you but that’s okay as long as we are having fun.
