I had the day off work today. It was a beautiful fall day, so I went to Westham Island, which is about half an hour out of the city. The Westham Island Herb Farm has wonderful Halloween displays, the Reifel Bird Sanctuary is one of my absolute happiest places (so good for the soul) and I wanted to see the snow geese which have just arrived on their migratory path from Russia down south for winter.
